Whether the issue is airborne spore counts, visible surface growth, or a persistent recurrence problem, Myko treats it the same way — with a proven formula, competently applied, at the right coverage.
Airborne mould treatment
Diffusion carries the formula into every corner of the treated zone — including cavities, plenums, return-air paths and hard-to-reach spaces that surface cleaning cannot access. The treatment is odour-neutral, non-corrosive to building materials, and does not require occupants to leave the space.
Airborne treatment is the right first step for buildings with complaints of mustiness, visible spot mould in multiple locations, HVAC-driven distribution, or a documented humidity problem.
Surface mould reduction
Surface treatment reduces visible growth and the biological load that would otherwise re-seed the air. It is not remediation: we do not remove plasterboard, insulation or contaminated materials. It is a fast, non-destructive treatment for surfaces that can be cleaned rather than replaced.
Frequently deployed alongside airborne treatment for buildings where both airborne counts and surface presence are elevated.
Ongoing management programs
Some buildings will never be one-treatment jobs. High-humidity climates, aged-care and healthcare facilities, food processing environments, indoor pools and post-remediation properties all benefit from keeping mould counts continuously low rather than reactively addressing spikes.
Programs are quoted per building on the basis of size, sector, treatment frequency and reporting requirements. Most clients move from one-off engagement to an ongoing program within twelve months.
What Myko will not do — and what we recommend instead.
Myko does not perform structural remediation. That means no removal of plasterboard, insulation, ceiling tiles, timber framing, carpet, subfloor or contaminated contents. Where the mould situation requires demolition and material replacement, that is remediation work — and we do not do it.
If a building requires remediation, we say so during the assessment. We will refer to a licensed remediation contractor and, where useful, work alongside them to reduce airborne mould before, during and after their work. The reduction service and the remediation service are complementary, not competitive.
