Cost & process
How Myko quotes.
Every building is different, so every quote is priced case by case after an assessment. No rate card, no phone estimates, and no number until we have seen what we are treating. Here is exactly what shapes the figure and what you receive.
What shapes the quote
Six things determine what a building costs to treat.
None of them can be judged over the phone, which is why the assessment comes first.
- Treated volume, not floor area. Diffusion fills a space, so ceiling height matters as much as footprint. A high-bay warehouse and an office of the same floor area are not the same job.
- Scope. Airborne treatment, surface treatment, or both. Surface work is shaped by how much is affected and how accessible it is.
- Install complexity. How readily the building can be fitted out, and how many diffusion points its layout needs, changes the install.
- Building conditions. HVAC layout, ceiling voids, occupancy and moisture history all affect where the system goes and how often it needs to run.
- Documentation. Baseline and post-treatment readings with a written report add to the scope, and are usually worth it where insurance, WHS or accreditation are involved.
- Run schedule. How often the system cycles is set to the building’s risk. A high-humidity aged-care facility runs harder than a temperate office.
What you receive
A fixed price, in writing, within a business day.
Assessment
A walkthrough with your facilities lead at no cost. We look at the building, the complaint and moisture history, and take a baseline reading.
Written quote
A fixed-price quote with the scope itemised — which zones are covered, the run schedule, servicing, and what reporting is included. Issued within one business day.
No surprises
The price does not move unless the scope genuinely changes, and then only with your written approval. If the job is smaller than you feared, the quote says so.
